Amped Up Guitar Club
Amped up is a guitar club for over 50's (or thereabouts)...
​
We meet every Monday at 6.30pm in Chalgrove Village Hall.
​
The sessions are free and all are welcome.

Before joining Amped Up I was quite lonely.
When it stopped for a few weeks because Kane was on school holiday with his family I felt a bit lost.
It has been great and gives me something to look forward to. Thank you to everyone involved.

When we started I thought it would be an asset to the local community but the level that is needed is much higher than I anticipated.
We are reaching people who wouldn't attend other clubs, and who otherwise might be completely isolated.
I have witnessed a noticeable improvement mental health as I watch people make new friendships and realise a new purpose.

Amped up guitar club is one of the highlights of my week.

The club has given me the opportunity to start playing again without worrying I won't be good enough, as it caters for any level.
​
Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, it’s rekindled my love of playing.
