The Phoenix project worked with young women who have experienced domestic abuse. 

 

They made a film about their experiences. 

 

The film was used to raise awareness, educate others and help inform policy.

 

For the women involved, the project promoted personal and social development, and improved self-confidence though sharing their stories and having their voices heard.
